her love for jewelry began at a young age when her grandmother gave her a couple turquoise rings that her father had made in the 70's. since then, becca cass' passion only grew as she studied art history in school and learned all about jewelry in ancient civilizations. fast forward ten years and she still draws inspiration from the same place and from her ever-growing stack of books on greek, roman, egyptian and byzantine jewelry. it is from that inspiration that she decided to name her collection b.c.e : before common era. her collection is handmade in her studio in carmel valley, ca.
