tura sugden has a bachelor of fine arts degree in sculpture. her work is an interpretation of classic jewelry composition. for inspiration she looks to timeless vintage pieces, and then reassembles and reworks the imagery, incorporating unique gemstones and architectural settings. her traditional art background in sculpture and drawing allows her to approach designing and fabricating with an artist's perspective.

she combines recycled gold and diamonds that are either salvaged from antique jewelry or bought from reputable dealers that she personally works with. each piece is made in san francisco studio, using traditional goldsmithing practices.
